Attain a 'Patient Summary' from your UK GP.

Choose your venue - Stansted or Watford.

Book the correct medical.

When booking use your full passport name.

** Please note once the booking is made, we will not  issue a refund if you change your mind; have a change in circumstances, fail any airline requirements or ask your parents to request a refund on your behalf!- So book when you are sure and ready to proceed.

If you are receiving any active treatment ensure you have the latest reports from your treating team when you attend the medical.

Come to the medical appointment around 15 minutes before the due time to ensure you are not late and that you can undertake your urine check before your appointment time.

*Attendance more than 15 minutes after the appointment time requires a new appointment booking and payment. This is a similar process as if  you are late for your airline check in time! So make sure you get to us on time.

Bring your original passport and paperwork for added security in case we can't read your forms clearly.

The medical  should not be stressful and most of our patients find it fun.

So come with a happy heart and don't worry.

There will not be blood tests either so relax!

Bring your glasses or wear your contact lens if you need visual correction for driving.

The medical usually takes around 15 minutes but can take longer in some circumstances.

If all the elements are completed and you pass the medical standards, the certificate will be issued on the day.

You leave happy with your certificate and career ahead of you.

If further reports or assessments are needed, the doctor will explain what is required.

Once these reports have been received, we can then process your certificate or advise further with regard to fitness to hold a cabin crew medical. There is usually an admin fee for the doctors time to read these reports and for the certificate to be securely posted.

The standards for cabin crew medical certification vary from the UK CAA and EASA. The rules are not identical and therefore important to understand.

Conditions like Asthma, Diabetes, Anxiety, Depression, Seizures and Colour Vision deficiency all require additional supporting information.

In general all crew over the age of 40 will need an ECG which is undertaken at the time of the medical.

Please check our frequently asked questions page if you need further assistance.

Please note : We are unable to give free advice either by email or telephone and suggest booking an appointment review if you are unable to find the answers by reviewing the information page or the relevant UK CAA/ EASA rules.
